What happens to your information

The contact form collects your name, email address, subject and message.

The journey form collects the service and journey details you provide, including places, date and time, passenger and luggage needs, additional requests, and the contact details needed to reply and prepare the journey.

Contact information is used to read and answer your message. Journey information is used to review the request, prepare a written offer and, if you accept it, administer the booking and the agreed service.

Accounting information relating to completed transactions is also used to meet legal and accounting obligations.

During one browser visit, the site keeps the first landing path, referrer, UTM campaign values and any gclid in sessionStorage. If you send a form, that origin travels with the message so Cordenne can understand which page or campaign produced it.

This visit origin is limited to the browser tab or session. It is not placed in a cookie or in localStorage, and it contains no name, email address or free-text form answer.

Cordenne runs Umami on its own Netcup-hosted infrastructure. It records pages, referrers, approximate country, language, browser and device information, and the successful delivery of a contact or journey form with product and language only.

The analytics tracker sets no cookie and writes nothing to the visitor’s device. An IP address is processed transiently to produce aggregate and session information but is not retained. Analytics never receives names, contact details, form text or journey details.

The form rate limiter reads an IP address transiently and keeps only recent attempt times in the running web process. It stores no form content and writes no IP address to a database or file.

Caddy access logging is disabled, so the host keeps no access-log record containing a visitor IP.

Cordenne uses three service providers for this site. Google Workspace carries and stores form email, Netcup hosts the site and its analytics database, and Hostinger provides the domain registration and DNS. No other service is embedded in the site.

A request that does not become a journey is deleted within 24 months. Accounting records and supporting documents for concluded business are kept for 10 years.

Other booking and journey information is kept only for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with a legal obligation, or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

Analytics history is kept while it is useful for understanding the site and may be deleted without affecting a request, booking or journey.

You may ask what personal data Cordenne holds about you and, where applicable, ask for it to be corrected, provided, restricted or deleted, or object to its processing. You may also raise a concern with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Write to contact@cordenne.ch to exercise a right or ask a privacy question. Cordenne may need enough information to identify the relevant record and confirm that the request is yours.
